A Day in the Life:

The Bunge North America Bellevue, OH location is looking for a Lab Technician for our processing/refinery plant. This position is responsible for th e integrity and safety of food and feed products throughout the manufacturing process utilizing various standards and established testing methods, operating procedures, and adherence to protocols and policies.

Position Details:

Night Shift: 4:45p-5:00a (rotating 12-hour shifts). Must have availability to work weekends and holidays

Pay: $29.78-$31.78 an hour ( $1.00 shift premium)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Routine analytical testing of products produced at the plant
• Data entry for testing results using QA database
• Prepare testing solutions, equipment calibrations, and upkeep of the laboratory
• Maintain lab equipment
• Troubleshoot problems with lab equipment or testing operations
• Assist with projects in the lab as needed
• Update standard work in lab and equipment as directed by supervisor
• Participate in plant/department safety training and activities
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Computer skills, including the use of Word and Excel
• Good decision making and teamwork skills
• Ability to operate lab equipment and hand tools
• Ability to work independently
• Will be required to work alone at times
• Good attendance and reliability are critical
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to stand and work a 12-hour shift, days or nights
• Ability to work at heights on man lifts, in extreme temperatures, and in a soybean processing plant with dust as a possible allergen
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college classes with chemistry/biology emphasis
