Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PART TIME Line and Grill Cook to join our team. Hourly rate of $16-$18/hour dependent on experience. Must be available evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, committed to quality, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to our standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor and presentation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy periods
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of shortages
Experience
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts within a restaurant
- Experience with food service operations preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with the food industry, including kitchen operations and food industry best practices
- Excellent skills in food presentation, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
