Important:
We are NOT a pool service company.
We do NOT perform pool cleaning or chemical balancing.
This role is strictly for hands-on repair and construction-level work.

Position Overview

This Full-Time Pool Repair Technician position is based out of our Sacramento branch.

You’re right for this role if:

  • You have 3 years of hands-on experience in pool construction and/or repair
  • You are confident working on pool plumbing systems, equipment, and structural components
  • You can diagnose issues and execute repairs, not just maintain water quality
  • You take pride in high-quality workmanship and problem-solving

Required Experience & Skills

  • Pool construction and/or repair (3 years required)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Pool plumbing systems
  • Pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems
  • Skimmer replacement and installation
  • Leak isolation concepts within pool systems
  • Ability to:
  • Troubleshoot system failures
  • Perform equipment replacements and plumbing repairs
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Professionalism and strong customer communication
  • Basic technology use (photos, notes, digital reports)

NOT a Fit If You:

  • Only have experience in pool cleaning/service/chemical balancing
  • Have not performed physical repairs or construction work
  • Are not comfortable with digging, cutting, plumbing, and equipment replacement

Typical Work Includes

  • Pool plumbing repairs and reroutes
  • Skimmer replacements
  • Equipment pad rebuilds and upgrades
  • Pump, filter, and heater replacements
  • Leak-related repairs (in coordination with leak detection team)
  • Structural and underground pool plumbing work

Working Conditions

  • Residential, commercial, and industrial job sites
  • Indoor and outdoor work
  • Exposure to heat, cold, and wet environments (we provide proper gear)
  • Physical labor required:
  • Lifting 50 lbs
  • Digging and excavation
  • Working in confined spaces and around pool structures
  • Some jobs involve underwater work (Scuba training provided)

Compensation

  • $26–$29/hour, depending on experience and capability
  • Regular increases tied to skill development and performance

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
