Senior Staff Accountant

The Opportunity
A vertically integrated real estate development and construction platform is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support its accounting team. This is a hands-on role focused on loan activity, job cost accounting, and month-end close across active development and operating entities.
This position is an onsite replacement hire and offers immediate responsibility in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare loan closing journal entries, including proceeds, fees, and escrows
- Manage loan draws, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Support loan compliance reporting and lender requirements
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support job cost accounting and cost capitalization
- Partner with senior accounting leadership on reporting and ad hoc analyses
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in real estate, development, or construction accounting preferred
- Hands-on exposure to loan closings and draws
- Job cost accounting experience
- Month-end close experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in an onsite environment
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
