What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vocal Private Lesson Instructor (Part-Time) position at Bullis School?
Bullis School seeks an experienced and engaging Vocal Instructor to teach in-person private voice lessons on our campus for students in Grades 3–12. This is a part-time, contract position with flexible scheduling (2-5 weekdays per week), and instructors have the opportunity to create their own teaching schedule in coordination with student availability.
Schedule:

Lower & Middle School: After school hours

Upper School: During study halls or after school
Key Qualifications:

Proven experience teaching voice to students of multiple ages and skill levels

Strong foundation in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary vocal styles

Proficiency in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and foreign language diction

Dependable, communicative, and student-centered teaching approach

Ability to manage variable schedules and administrative functions
Additional Details:

In-person lessons take place on the Bullis School campus

Lessons follow the Bullis academic calendar

Two 10-lesson sessions per year

Teachers are independent contractors, paid directly by families (financial aid available for qualifying students)
