Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves engaging with children in a classroom setting, developing lesson plans, and implementing effective teaching strategies tailored to individual student needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
- Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support child welfare and development.
- Utilize early intervention strategies for students demonstrating learning challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or private school setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and classroom management techniques.
- Experience in lesson planning and implementing educational activities tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the growth of each child.
License/Certification
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
