The Bull Moose Project is seeking a Programs & Partnerships Manager. This role will be shared between the Bull Moose Project and its 501(c)(3) partner, the Bull Moose Institute.
This role is responsible for ensuring that initiatives, coalitions, and events move from concept to publication to impact. The Manager will be responsible for tracking program deliverables, overseeing events, and supporting organization growth.

Responsibilities
Program Management & Execution
- Build and manage a rolling 6–12 month calendar across all policy initiatives
- Track deliverables and deadlines for fellows, consultants, and staff
- Run weekly execution meetings to ensure projects move efficiently
- Ensure alignment between policy output and external engagement strategy
Growth & Grant Management
- Identify and track donor and grant opportunities aligned with policy priorities
- Partner with President on donor outreach and grant submissions
- Maintain a centralized grant calendar and compliance system
- Integrate policy output into donor-facing materials and proposals
Operations and Partner Coordination
- Assist with planning and executing events, including roundtables, coalition meetings, and advocacy campaigns
- Build strategic alliances and systems for tracking coalition partners, legislative contacts, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate follow-up and relationship management across initiatives
- Proofread, fact-check, and edit written content as needed

- Seek high degrees of ownership. Depending on your experience level, you will be expected to develop high-quality materials or analysis with moderate to minimal guidance, and at times drive work products or processes from end-to-end
- Bring between 3-5 years of experience and are ready to operate within a growing policy organization
Ideal Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, economics, or a related field is highly preferred
- Enthusiastic support for BMP’s mission and worldview
- Familiarity with the DC political and policymaking space (the Hill, think tanks, philanthropic networks, executive branch) is preferred
- Experience with CRM software is required.
