Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to children and students with diverse communication needs. Your contributions will help facilitate effective communication, language development, and speech disorder support across various settings, including schools, clinics, and telehealth platforms. Responsibilities
Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Support children and students with language disorders, speech delays, and communication challenges through engaging therapy activities.
Conduct assessments and gather data on speech and language progress under supervision to inform treatment adjustments.
Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure cohesive care plans and effective communication strategies.
Utilize telehealth technology to deliver remote therapy sessions when applicable, ensuring continuity of care.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and client records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Participate in ongoing training on anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, early intervention techniques, and multidisciplinary collaboration in speech-language pathology.

Skills
Strong understanding of speech disorders support strategies and language development principles.
Experience working with children and students with disabilities in educational or clinical settings.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
Ability to implement speech therapy plans effectively within pediatric populations and early intervention programs.
Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach tailored for diverse populations.
Familiarity with school-based environments and experience working with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Bilingual abilities are a plus to support diverse client needs; fluency enhances communication effectiveness.
Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms and remote service delivery methods.
Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including educators, therapists, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
• Active Idaho SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
