A Paralender in our Commercial Banking area is responsible for assisting Commercial Banking Advisers with processing and maintaining a large commercial loan book of business with special emphasis on real estate and commercial construction lending.
Job Duties and Primary Responsibilities
- Assists with customer contact and resolution of customer problems.
- Orders appraisals and title work.
- Prepares instructions for document processing.
- Ensures preparation of documents and closings are completed as approved.
- Orders construction inspections and prepares construction draws.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with commercial loans from request, through approval, appraisal, title work, and documentation through closing and post-closing.
- Experience with loan advances through the inspection for percentage of completion process.
- Experience in portfolio maintenance such as clearing of technical and financial exceptions, collection of past dues, renewal of matured loans, and updating inventory.
