Duties
- Kitting parts from burntable and saw
- Loading pallets and stage for weld, machine, or warehouse
- Clean and debur parts from burntable and saw
- Flame cut chamfers on plate steel
- Operate or train to operate burntable, saws, plate roll, and break-press to process bar/tube/plate/stock materials
- Assist unloading of steel plate as delivered
- Be able to do limited maintenance in the area ( for example-change saw blades, replace burntable plate supports)
- Read shop orders and process accordingly
- Open and close out appropriate shop orders in the MRP system
- Read and interpret drawings
- Use hand tools including measuring tools ( example-tape measure)
- Perform other duties not listed as assigned by Area Supervisor

Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of the safe use of hand tools and the required PPE.
- Experience using overhead bridge cranes and jibs hoists with training in proper lifting and rigging techniques.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to read and understand production prints.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment.
- Ability of lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

Pay: $16.00 - $32.53 per hour
