What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Energy Technician/Installer position at Built Well Solar Corp.?

Long Island's premier solar energy company is seeking an experienced solar panel technician/installer for solar energy (PV) projects in Nassau and Suffolk counties. This role requires working with our team to install solar energy (PV) systems on residential and commercial rooftops and ground-mounts. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of electrical systems, proficient use of hand tools and power tools for construction purposes and related construction techniques, and the ability to work at heights.

Candidates should have at least four years of PV installation, troubleshooting and/or related solar energy technical experience, or comparable experience in carpentry or electrical. NABCEP certification is a plus.

Candidates should own a vehicle with a valid license and clean driving record. Mileage reimbursement provided, where applicable.

Important for candidate to have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication and teamwork abilities, have positive outlook and friendly demeanor, and be passionate about pursuing a career in this growing field currently in its infancy.

Excellent compensation, commensurate with experience.

Candidates must be willing to undergo background check. Company policy of no tobacco/vape, and random drug testing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
