Role Description The Sign Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pensacola, FL. The Sign Installer is responsible for safely installing a variety of signs, including wall-mounted, freestanding, and vehicle graphics, following project specifications and local regulations. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, using hand and power tools, operating ladders and lifts, measuring and aligning signage, and ensuring secure, accurate placement. The role also involves performing basic site preparation, troubleshooting installation issues, and communicating with team members and supervisors to complete jobs on schedule. Sign Installers are expected to follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, and provide professional, courteous service at customer locations.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow installation plans, measurements, and basic drawings; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools, ladders, and lifting equipment; comfort working at heights and in various outdoor conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction or trade work (carpentry, electrical, or general labor) and familiarity with hardware, fasteners, and mounting techniques.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting professionally with clients on-site.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to travel locally to job sites as needed.
