Role Description The Residential Maintenance Tech is a full-time position based in Lexington, KY. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing construction punch out, repairs on residential properties, and identifying issues that require corrective action. The role involves a highly skill and knowledgeable individual that can troubleshooting problems, keep jobs moving forward, and coordinating with project managers and staff. Tech will document all work performed, maintain tools and equipment in good working order, and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner. Regular site visits, clear communication with clients and internal team members, and adherence to safety standards are essential components of this position
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and on-site in various weather conditions.
- Candidates should possess skills in home repairs, handyman services, and equipment operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to diagnose issues and reduce equipment downtime.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry for residential maintenance.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and maintenance instructions.
- Previous experience in residential or handyman services are preferred; relevant certifications or vocational training are a plus.
