Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct appliance installation, repair, and servicing for various appliances including kitchen equipment and HVAC units.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with company procedures.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site service calls or equipment transport as needed.
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to mechanical systems or facility infrastructure.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and clients regarding maintenance needs and solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across diverse systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for HVAC & appliance technology.
- Experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate construction tools or equipment related to facility upgrades or repairs is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely is preferred.
