Key Responsibilities:

  • Install Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and associated field devices per design drawings and schematics.
  • Pull wire, terminate connections, and mount/control hardware per established electrical and installation standards.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure timely, quality installations.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and perform functional tests of DDC systems.
  • Maintain documentation of installation progress and system updates.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the installation of electrical components, conduit, raceways, and wiring in complex buildings and job sites
  • Maintain efficient organization of tools and materials to streamline installation processes
  • Uphold strict compliance with National Electric Code guidelines for electrical system installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Operate vehicles as required for job responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians, coordinating schedules and tasks to ensure project success
  • Excel in reading and interpreting complex electrical plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
  • Complete any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in electrical or low-voltage installations (HVAC/building automation experience preferred).
  • Solid understanding of control systems, HVAC components, and wiring practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Familiarity with tools of the trade (conduit benders, multimeters, drills, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions (e.g., rooftops, mechanical rooms).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with major DDC platforms (e.g., Automated Logic, Honeywell, Tridium/Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, etc.).
  • Certification in low-voltage electrical or building automation systems.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Willing and able to comply with safe work practices
  • Able to be on call
  • Experience with low-voltage systems and controls
  • Experience with high-voltage systems and controls
  • Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
  • Good driving record
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Drug free

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
