Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sign Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of signs, including but not limited to, interior and exterior signs, vehicle wraps, and digital displays. The Sign Installer will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure accurate and timely installations that meet our clients' specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install various types of signs including channel letters, dimensional letters, vinyl graphics, banners, and digital displays.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications for sign installation.
- Prepare and assemble signs before installation, including measuring, cutting, and shaping materials.
- Use hand and power tools to install signs securely and safely.
- Ensure all installations are completed to company and industry standards.
- Perform maintenance and repair of existing signs as needed.
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in sign installation or a related field.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in sign installation or a related trade.
- Experience with electrical wiring and lighting for illuminated signs.
- Familiarity with digital signage and electronic displays.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with the possibility of overtime.
- Work involves outdoor and indoor environments, with exposure to various weather conditions.
- Must be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
