Duties & Responsibilities:
- Utilize our core values to direct branch operations emphasizing leadership, accountability, integrity and teamwork
- Lead sales representatives in the market to drive market growth
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Grow sales by building customer relationships and providing excellent customer service
- Help with inventory management and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability
- Participate in budget development and forecasts
- Perform quality controls and monitor warehouse activity
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service
- Lead, motivate and support team members, including career development plans for direct reports
- Maintain safety program enforcing safe work practices and procedures
- Develop delivery routes and cultivate a strong relationship with drivers and customers
- BS/BA degree (or equivalent experience) in business, operations management or related field
- Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of performance and operations management
- Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Proven team leader
- Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator
