Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, FL, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on assigned construction projects. This role coordinates subcontractors and trades, monitors work progress, and ensures that schedules and quality standards are met. The Construction Superintendent enforces safety policies, conducts site inspections, and maintains a clean and compliant work environment. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, tracking materials and equipment needs, communicating with project managers and clients, and updating documentation related to timelines and costs. The role requires proactive problem-solving, clear communication, and consistent presence on the job site to keep projects on track and within budget.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Construction Site Management skills, including supervision of crews, coordination of subcontractors, and oversight of day-to-day field activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Construction Safety knowledge, including familiarity with OSHA regulations, enforcement of safety protocols, and commitment to maintaining a safe work site.
- Candidates should possess strong Organization Skills, including accurate documentation, effective scheduling, and management of multiple tasks and priorities.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting and cost control skills, including tracking project expenses, assisting with forecasts, and supporting efforts to keep projects within financial targets.

- 10 Years experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role in commercial or multi-family construction is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and construction-related software for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
