Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development for infants.
- Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times.
- Monitor each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones and needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care plans.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations related to infant care and early childhood education.
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle multiple children compassionately and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children.
