Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team from the hours of 8:15 pm- 4:30 pm. The ideal candidate will be nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to educating and caring for preschool-aged children, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and engaged in their learning journey.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique needs and learning styles.
- Engage in daily activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Skills
- Strong classroom management abilities to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Experience in toddler care or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus for accommodating diverse learners.
- Previous experience as a nanny or caregiver can be beneficial in understanding child development.
- Ability to educate young children through engaging activities that promote learning.
- Experience working with students in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing demeanor combined with patience and enthusiasm for working with young children.
