Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, math, physical education, to promote childhood development.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques that encourage respectful interactions and independence among children.
- Lead daily lesson planning sessions aligned with developmental milestones, standardized testing requirements, and individual student needs.
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child welfare, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Manage classroom activities that support toddler care, preschool experience, and special education needs while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Utilize assessment tools to monitor student progress, adapt teaching strategies accordingly, and support early childhood education goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design engaging activities that enhance literacy skills, social-emotional learning, and physical development in a nurturing environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with a minimum of one year of classroom experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Familiarity with special education accommodations and teaching physical education or tutoring as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Bachelors degree in early childhood education or related fields is preferred
