Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team. As a lead teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children in a Georgia Pre-K program. You will play a key role in fostering a positive, nurturing, and safe classroom environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Leadership:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver a developmentally appropriate curriculum for 4-year-old children that aligns with Georgia’s Pre-K guidelines.
- Implement daily lesson plans, activities, and educational experiences in a fun and creative manner.
- Foster a love of learning through play-based, hands-on, and student-centered activities.

Classroom Management:
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all children’s learning needs.
- Implement behavior management techniques that are consistent with the Georgia Pre-K program's philosophy and best practices.
- Ensure classroom safety and well-being of all students.

Assessment and Documentation:
- Observe and assess students’ progress and development using Georgia Pre-K required assessments and methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student progress, including daily observations, portfolios, and progress reports.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ academic development, behavior, and any concerns.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with assistant teachers, staff, and the administration to enhance the learning environment.
- Maintain open and positive communication with parents and families regarding their child’s progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events as needed.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all Georgia Pre-K regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Adhere to all state and federal safety protocols, including health and safety practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or related field (Required).
- Valid Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher certification (Required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience in early childhood education, particularly in a Pre-K or preschool setting (Preferred).
- Knowledge of Georgia’s Pre-K standards and curriculum guidelines.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and assist children with mobility and activities as needed.
- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, bend, and move around the classroom as necessary.
Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
