Build Rite Construction is seeking an experienced Residential Carpenter (Multi-Trade) to join our team. We specialize in custom homes, additions, renovations, and high-quality residential construction throughout Southwest Michigan.

We’re looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a team that takes pride in building projects the right way—not simply the fastest way.

This is a full-time W-2 position for someone with solid residential construction experience who can work independently, communicate well, and consistently produce quality work with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do

As a Residential Carpenter (Multi-Trade), you’ll work on a variety of residential projects including custom homes, additions, renovations, and repairs. You’ll be expected to perform quality work with minimal supervision while contributing to a team that values professionalism, craftsmanship, and accountability.

Responsibilities include:

• Finish carpentry, remodeling, and residential repairs
• Window and exterior door installation
• Interior doors, trim, crown molding, and finish carpentry
• Cabinet and millwork installation
• Siding, decking, and exterior finish work
• Drywall repairs and punch list work
• Troubleshooting and solving field issues while maintaining quality standards
• Reading plans and solving field problems
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Communicating material needs and job progress
• Working professionally with fellow team members and customers
