This position will be responsible for sales strategy, team performance, revenue growth and the development of key customer and distributor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the national sales plan.
- Lead, coach and develop a geographically distributed outside sales team.
- Drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Establish performance expectations and accountability across the sales organization.
- Develop relationships with key customers, distributors and commercial partners.
- Monitor market conditions, competitors and pricing activity.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, pipeline visibility and performance reporting.
- Partner with Operations, Product Management and Customer Service.
- Improve sales processes and commercial execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline preferred.
- 8 years of progressive B2B sales experience.
- 5 years of sales-management experience within manufacturing, industrial distribution or engineered products.
- Experience leading and developing a regional or national field sales team.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong distributor, key-account and end-user relationship experience.
- Strong forecasting, commercial planning and performance-management abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the United States.
