Key Responsibilities
- Establish manufacturing engineering priorities and improvement plans.
- Improve production capability, reliability, throughput, quality and cost performance.
- Lead automation, equipment-modernization and process-improvement initiatives.
- Oversee capital planning, project justification and implementation.
- Support production expansion, new manufacturing requirements and equipment integration.
- Introduce consistent engineering methods, standards and performance measures.
- Lead and develop engineering personnel.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 10 years of progressive manufacturing engineering or operations experience.
- Demonstrated engineering leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting operations across more than one production facility.
- Strong knowledge of automation, manufacturing equipment and capital projects.
- Background in discrete manufacturing, industrial equipment or engineered products.
- Experience delivering measurable improvements in productivity, capacity or cost.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement methodologies.
- Strong project-management, communication and leadership abilities.
