What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Merchandise Planner position at Build-A-Bear?
The Associate Merchandise Planner will support the Sr. Merchandise Planner by developing replenishment buys and collaborating with Planners to understand buying strategies and ensure alignment with future demand forecasts.
Responsibilities:
- Use sales forecasts and current inventory levels to create replenishment buys
- Work closely with Planners to understand buying strategies and align with future demand forecasts
- Support Planners with data requests and analytics including in-season data
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of planning or related financial/analytical experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Skilled with Excel
- Power BI a plus
