Warehouse Associate

Family owned business established in 2019 – relocating from KS to MO

Need to hire 2 full time employees (36 hours a week or more)

Monday – Thursday schedule with an occasional Friday

$20/hr plus up to $150 stipend each pay period to assist with health insurance needs

Earn 4 hours of paid time off per pay period if 36 hours or more are worked per week

After 3 months, monthly bonuses are possible

If hired, start date would be NLT 4 May

2 warehouse leads relocating with business; all other positions must be filled

ABOUT US:

· Family-owned e-commerce business established in 2019 in Kansas and now moving to Cape Girardeau, Missouri!

· Ready to hire two additional self-motivated individuals to join the warehouse team.

· We primarily sell toys and electronics.

· Two warehouse leads relocating with the business. All others must be replaced in MO.

We are in need of two highly motivated individuals who are able to perform quality work and who are willing to work 36 hours a week or more!

Interviews will be completed on 13 or 14 April with a projected start date of NLT 4 May.

ABOUT THE JOB:

· $20 per hour (no additional benefits; however, there is up to a $150 stipend each pay period [bi-weekly] dependent on hours worked to assist with health insurance needs). After three months, monthly bonuses are possible based on individual and business performance. Pay increases are possible after six months based on individual performance.

· Number of hours may vary slightly each week depending on workload and willingness and ability to learn new tasks.

· Scheduled work days Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 30-minute paid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks.

· Scheduled holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Pay will be received for these days if they fall on a scheduled workday.

· Employees who work full-time (36 hours a week) on a permanent basis will earn paid time off which will be discussed in more detail during the interview.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to remain focused even when working on tedious tasks. There may be some days that you spend your full day sorting and prepping toys for shipment.

· Attention to detail is necessary. Employee must be able to locate damaged packaging or stains/dirt and clearance stickers. Quality work is a must to be successful in this position.

· Ability to lift and move/walk around carrying boxes and tubs that weigh 50 pounds. Ability to unload pallets that include 300 boxes weighing up to 30 pounds each.

· Be willing to work outside in short intervals moving shipping boxes to the UPS pickup point or unloading and sorting pallets of inventory.

· Quick learner – Sorting and prepping items for shipping can be very repetitive. Employees must be able to remember different types of inventory and how they are prepped for shipping.

DUTIES/TASKS:

· Sort & label products by type for shipping

· Unload pallets

· Move packed boxes to the loading area

· Organize hundreds of boxes by item type

· Lift boxes up to 50 pounds

· Sort items by type

· Bend Over to Scan items into a shipment

· Bag sets of items

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
