Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time position for a Medical Assistant at our Woodbury, NY office. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting with patient care, maintaining medical records, managing medical office tasks, and supporting physicians during procedures. Additionally, the role involves ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations within the practice, including greeting patients, preparing examination rooms, and handling clinical and administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience with Medical Office operations, including scheduling and administrative tasks
- Skills in Patient Care and providing empathetic support to patients
- Ability to accurately manage and update Medical Records
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification or equivalent is preferred
- Prior experience in a plastic or reconstructive surgery setting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
