Duties

• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to expedite food orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery
• Communicate effectively with servers and front-of-house team to relay order updates and special requests
• Monitor order accuracy, quality, and presentation before serving to guests
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and handling
• Support the kitchen team by organizing and prioritizing orders during busy service periods
• Ensure all food items are served at appropriate temperatures and in accordance with safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, including bussing tables when necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between kitchen staff and servers
• Knowledge of food preparation, expediting, and food safety standards
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic numeracy skills for managing order quantities and POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Organizational skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service times
• Experience with banquet service, food handling, or culinary roles is a plus
• Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, cooking processes, and hospitality standards

Pay: From $13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
