- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality food delivery.
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance performance and customer service skills.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control protocols.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering to minimize waste and control costs effectively.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety procedures, and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their experience.
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs, sales performance, and operational expenses during your shift.
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick-service or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS for transaction processing.
- Suffolk County Food Manager Certification and ServSafe Manager Certification
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through staff training, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling responsibilities confidently.
- Previous experience in managing restaurant operations or hospitality management roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
