Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards.
- Lead and motivate team members by providing clear direction, ongoing training, and performance feedback to promote a high-energy, customer-focused atmosphere.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards, including cooking and food handling procedures.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders as needed, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and transaction management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff training in food safety practices.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their experience.
- Assist with staff training and development initiatives to build a skilled, confident team capable of delivering exceptional service.
- Support restaurant management in budgeting, scheduling, and overall food service management to meet operational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or supervising teams within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety protocols.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and cash handling.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing new hires, and supervising shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles preferred; barista or hotel experience is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
