What we do.

Buffalo Strive Vending Inc. is a locally-owned family business located in Orchard Park, NY. We are a fresh food healthy vending company servicing WNY. All of our fresh food items are made every day right in our building.

Who we are looking for.

We are looking for a Fresh Food Service Worker to join our production team. This role is responsible for assisting with the preparation, packaging, labeling, and organization of fresh food items that are distributed to our Strive Markets and vending locations.

This position plays an important role in maintaining the quality, consistency, and food safety standards that our customers expect from Buffalo Strive.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality food products.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh grab-and-go food items according to established recipes and standards
• Assembling food products such as wraps, salads, snack boxes, and other fresh items
• Packaging and labeling food products with proper dates and product information
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and commissary area
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Assisting with receiving, stocking, and organizing food ingredients and supplies
• Monitoring food quality and freshness standards
• Supporting the team in meeting daily production goals

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety guidelines
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

This position does have physical demands and requirements, including:

• Standing for extended periods of time
• Frequent use of hands for food preparation and packaging
• Lifting up to 30–40 pounds
• Working in a refrigerated or kitchen environment

What we offer you that’s different.

Work hours and schedule: Shift schedule start times vary between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM each day. A typical work-day is 8-10 hours per day, Monday-Friday.

Compensation: Our Fresh Food Service Worker start between $17-$20 per hour (based on experience).
