Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a customer-focused mindset, ensuring that both residents and property owners receive exceptional service. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to maintaining the property’s efficiency and enhancing tenant satisfaction.
Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, typing, and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Coordinate front desk activities, including welcoming visitors and managing phone communications.
- Maintain organized records of tenant leases, payments, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with the property management team to implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in marketing efforts for vacant units, including preparing promotional materials and conducting property tours for prospective tenants.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the property management team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred; or assistant/ leasing agent or personal assistant is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for filing and documentation purposes.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional proofreading skills to ensure all communications are professional and error-free.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
