We are currently looking for a Guest Services Representative to join our Front Desk team. The Hampton Inn & Suites, Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch, encircled by UTC shops in Lakewood Ranch- Just off I-75, we’re a short walk from shopping and dining at University Town Center. Our newly renovated hotel has 102 guest suites. We serve a daily complimentary breakfast to our guests. We are within five miles of Nathan Benderson Park and Waterside Place. Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is 15 minutes away. The Hampton Inn & Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

The Guest Services Representative/Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include:
Full Time - Shifts vary from 7 am to 3pm, 10 am - 6pm, or 3pm to 11pm - must be flexible and able to work weekends - including Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

- Greeting guests, complete the check- in/ check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
- Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property
- Identifying the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
- Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputs all information into the hotel management system. Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.

- Customer Service experience, in a hotel setting preferred.
- Hilton experience is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
- Must have valid drivers license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval .
