What are the responsibilities and job description for the KidKare Lead Site Supervisor position at Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools?
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a school-age childcare program.
- Supervise, schedule, coach, and evaluate site staff.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, and safety procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families, school staff, and KidKare leadership.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, school personnel, and community partners.
- Create and maintain a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for all children.
- Support staff in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and play.
- Manage enrollment, attendance, and program records.
- Assist with staffing, training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
- Foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and supports every child's success.
- Respond to incidents, parent concerns, and day-to-day operational needs with professionalism.
- Help create meaningful experiences that have a lasting impact on children's lives.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Recreation, or a related field preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in childcare, including supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and school partners.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn the Arux registration and attendance system.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
- A positive, dependable, and compassionate leader who enjoys mentoring others and creating a fun, supportive environment.
