- Provide leadership, vision, and direction for the entire Buffalo Baseball program.

- Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain consistent communication.

- Coordinate practice plans, game preparation, and offseason development opportunities.
- Assist with scheduling, equipment management, inventory, and budget responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with all school, district, conference, and MSHSL policies.
- Complete required administrative duties in a timely manner.
- Build positive relationships with student-athletes, families, staff, officials, youth coaches, and community members.
- Communicate program expectations clearly and consistently.
- Represent Buffalo High School with professionalism and integrity.
- Build strong relationships with Buffalo Youth Baseball and other community baseball organizations.
- Support the development of a consistent program philosophy from youth through varsity.
- Promote enthusiasm and participation throughout the baseball community.
- Maintain current coaching certifications as required by the MSHSL.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and growth as a coach and educator.
- Previous successful baseball coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a successful athletic program.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to developing the whole student-athlete.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, administration, families, and the community.
- Builds meaningful relationships with student-athletes.
- Develops a positive, competitive, and accountable team culture.
