Job Summary
Buffalo Chophouse is looking for a full-time lead bartender to maintain and enhance their bar program. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience managing a bar program in a fine dining setting. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Executing dinner service including drink preparation, guest relations, food service, and service bar;
- Supervising a team of bartenders, providing ongoing education on customer service, food preparation, and bartending techniques;
- Develop and maintain beverage menus, including signature cocktails, rotating wine specials, and seasonal offerings;
- Ensure compliance with state liquor laws as well as health and safety regulations;
- Daily, weekly, and monthly inventory;
- Restock bar with required products after each shift (must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds);
- Over see all cash handling, including nightly tip reconciliation with service and support staff;
- Maintain a clean work place in compliance with health and safety regulations;
- Report to and assist restaurant management with any necessary tasks required to create functioning and profitable bar program.
