Position Summary
The Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for leading student recruitment efforts, managing enrollment processes, and building strong relationships with families and community partners. This role plays a critical part in ensuring full enrollment and maintaining a diverse and mission-aligned student body.
Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment & Outreach

Develop and implement a strategic student recruitment plan.

Represent the school at community events, fairs, and information sessions.

Build partnerships with community organizations, local schools, and family networks.

Coordinate open houses, school tours, and informational sessions.

Manage digital and print marketing efforts in collaboration with leadership.
Enrollment Management

Oversee application, lottery, and enrollment processes in compliance with NYS charter regulations.

Maintain accurate enrollment data and student records.

Communicate clearly and consistently with prospective families throughout the enrollment cycle.

Track enrollment trends and generate reports for school leadership.

Ensure re-enrollment processes are timely and organized.
Family Engagement & Communication

Serve as a primary contact for prospective families.

Provide responsive support via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Assist families with required documentation and onboarding procedures.
Required:

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered).

Experience in admissions, recruitment, enrollment, marketing, or community outreach.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems.

Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.
Preferred:

Experience in a charter school or K–12 educational setting.

Bilingual (Spanish or other languages spoken in the Buffalo community).

Knowledge of New York State charter enrollment requirements.
