General Education Teacher
Position Summary
The General Education Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instructional lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum. The teacher creates a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of all students while promoting student engagement and academic success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district curriculum standards.

Deliver instruction using a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse student learning needs.

Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.

Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and supportive classroom environment.

Monitor and document student progress and communicate performance with students, parents, and school staff.

Collaborate with special education staff, instructional aides, and colleagues to support student success.

Compensation

Bachelor’s Degree (Non-Certified Teacher): Starting salary $48,500

Bachelor’s Degree (Certified Teacher): Starting salary $50,500
Salary may increase based on experience, advanced degrees, and applicable certifications.
