Multi-Site Market Leader

Market leaders are a blend of company leadership, senior project management, and mentorship to staff and team members, and design and technical support to projects. The role of the market leader is to manage clients in their market, extend and expand revenue streams, assist leadership with team strategy and structure identifying needs for their specific market as the market grows.

Minimum Required Skillsets:

• Project management
• People management
• Time management and project scheduling
• Scheduling and leading meetings/interface with Clients and consultants and jurisdictions.
• Revit and other technical platform proficiency
• High level of understanding on contract negotiation/writing
• High level of understanding/knowledge on standard of care for their specific market and design discipline
• High level of understanding/knowledge on client KPIs
• High level of understanding/knowledge on engineering disciplines
• Delegation and coordination of internal team members and consultants

Job Description:

• Manage, Communicate, and Answer the needs of client for your projects and consultant team members for those projects.
• Primary Client Interface and Project Management on multiple client/projects concurrently with project teams working under you to execute projects.
• Active listening and interpretation for project advancement including leading city jurisdictional meetings, setting up agendas and meeting minutes for meetings with clients and team members.
• Proactive measures to delivery on project scheduling, project updating, and project tracking including weekly or bi-weekly status updates to clients.
• Project planning including communication with client to gain visibility to upcoming workload in anticipation of identifying upcoming resource allocation for staff members.
• Internal management presence on projects to younger staff and in-house structural and MEP team to stay on top of aspects of each project.
• Effective and influential communication to lead by example on project delivery.
• Technical proficiency in non-drawing components of the project process including permitting, project management, identifying additional services and executing change management for those items, and general scope understanding for each project.
• Support of the project team through areas of technical work including drawings and directing consultants on their work and non-technical work including permitting, documentation, writing narratives for addenda, and proactively communicating with jurisdictions and other bodies to advance projects.
• Revenue expansion and continuation responsibility for existing clients.
• Expanding brand awareness among peers and existing/potential client base in surrounding market.
• Identifying team members for employment.
• Regular feedback meetings and employee reviews for younger staff members.
• Project scheduling, project updating, project tracking, and resource implementation.
• Mentorship to younger staff.
• Regular 1 on 1 education with younger staff that is working on your projects.
• Quality control of documents, coordination with consultants and quality control of project delivery from younger staff.
• Leadership on company standards for document delivery on projects.
• Fee remaining analysis/Invoicing, Accounts receivable follow-up.
• Contractual Agreement negotiation with clients and Additional services proposal writing.
• Expanded and flexible Workload Demand above and beyond 40 hours as necessary.
