Busy Honda automotive dealership looking for highly motivated self-starters to join our team-orientated Honda Parts department as a:
Parts Stock Person
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Stockperson receives, stores and issues parts, merchandise, materials and other items from the stockroom or other storage areas to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers’ orders.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Provide prompt, courteous and efficient service to parts department personnel, shop technicians, service advisors and other departments’ personnel.
- Assist in gathering orders for delivery which may include loading and unloading pallets and vehicles when necessary.
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked in stockroom and other storage areas.
- Mark & store items in an orderly and accessible manner in stockroom, supply room(s) and other areas.
- Package & ship parts to customers or back to the manufacturer and complete the appropriate recordkeeping.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor.
- Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure all shipments are correct.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: Less than high school education
Experience: 1 years’ related experience is highly desirable
Computer Skills: Proficient in basic computer operations. Possess the ability to learn specialized and/or dealership computer software programs.
Certifications & Licenses: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must meet and maintain standards for driver acceptability as determined by the insurance company utilized by the dealership. Employee may be required to participate in specialized training programs.
Other Requirements: Must be able to physically operate vehicles safely.
