Automotive Service Lane Assistant

Metro area Honda automotive dealership looking for highly motivated self-starter to join our team-orientated Buerkle Honda service department as a:

Service Lane Assistant - FT (Tu-Th 10:30am - 7:00pm F 9:30am - 6pm Sat 7:30am-4pm)

• $19 - $22 per hour depending on experience

What YOU offer us!

The ability to provide assistance to the service department by greeting service customers, collecting payment for service repairs through cash, check or credit card transactions, checking in/out loaner vehicles to customers and miscellaneous admin duties including filing.

• You are team orientated with a focus on providing your customers with the best possible service 100% of the time.
• You are self-motivated and enjoy working with a team.
• You have prior service experience in the automotive industry and/or customer service. If you have crossover skills and experience, we are willing to train you.
• Positive attitude.
• Solid organization skills.
• Great customer service skills.
• Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.

Job Duties include:

• Greet customers efficiently and effectively during initial service drive entry.
• Direct customers to proper service advisor and or express writer.
• Properly collect payment for service repair orders via cash, check or credit card.
• Check in/out loaner vehicles to service customers.
• Book and close out repair orders as needed.
• General administrative duties.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
