General Qualifications for All Positions in this Range: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: One year of paid or volunteer experience working with elementary age children. Licensure/Certifications: Some positions will require employees to obtain within six (6) months of employment and maintain a first aid & CPR certificate. Additional State/Federal ESSA Requirements: IA employees must: -Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction, or -Pass the CBEST, or -Have completed two years of college (48 units), or -Possess an A. A. degree (or higher). . Unique, desirable qualifications for these positions includes: IA-II-SPED: Experience, training, or course work requiring a specialized learning environment. Including child growth and development, special education, instructional technology, or a closely related field.
General Hours & Work Schedules: IA-II-SPED: Monday-Friday, 20-29 hours per week, with morning and full school day shifts To help you prepare, please find the timeline for the next steps of our interview process below: Online Testing: Must be completed by August 7, 2026, by 8:00 AM.
