Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware/utensils and rolling utensils as necessary
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Answer phone inquiries and to go orders
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary or communicating as necessary with management.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food and beverages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a related hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques or specialty drinks is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
