What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Production - Full-Time position at Buehler's Fresh Foods\t\t\t\t\t?
PRODUCTION PRODUCTION: Production Clerk working primarily in the Produce Department and responsible for the preparation of perishable and non-perishable merchandise for sale prior to and during regular store hours. This person's primary duties include ordering, cutting fresh fruits and vegetables, food safety, handling special orders, keeping the Value added case full and fresh. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned including organizing the cooler, sanitation, housekeeping, trimming, packaging, stocking, and otherwise performing the Department's early morning set-up routine.
- Available to work anticipated work schedule: Must be available to be scheduled 35 hrs a week, primary hours will be early AM shifts and weekends, based on department needs.
- Previous Work Experience: Produce and Value Added experience preferred, but not required.
- Physical Demands: repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 100#.
Other Work Considerations: Able to work with minimal supervision; prioritize tasks; reliable, dependable.
