Design Consultant
Budget Blinds Portland Metro
Budget Blinds is looking for a service-oriented Design Consultant to provide in-home design consultations and help customers choose window treatments that fit their needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with customers in their homes for design consultations (up to three appointments per day).
- Provide design advice and attentive customer service.
- Follow up on leads and pending sales, and respond promptly to customer emails and phone calls.
- Place orders accurately and document customer and sales communications.
- Use Microsoft Office and CRM tools, and support invoicing and payment processing.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and training.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two years of sales experience.
- Strong written communication and a service-oriented approach.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM, invoicing, and payment processing.
- An interior design degree is preferred.
- Window-treatment or drapery experience is strongly preferred.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Full-time. Some evening or weekend appointments may be needed to meet customers.
Expected first-year total compensation is approximately $60,000, including commission. Top performers can earn $100,000 or more.
