This position begins with a strong focus on logistics, including deliveries, pickups, service calls, product handling, showroom support, and merchandise refurbishment. As you grow in the role, you will be trained in additional areas of the business with the goal of preparing you for future advancement opportunities.

What You Will Do

As a MIT, you will play an important role in the daily success of the store while learning the foundation of our business. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering, picking up, servicing, and relocating merchandise in customers’ homes
• Assisting with furniture, appliance, electronics, and home product installation and removal
• Maintaining the appearance and organization of the showroom, warehouse, vehicles, and product areas
• Refurbishing, cleaning, testing, and preparing merchandise for the showroom floor or future delivery
• Providing excellent customer service in the store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes
• Learning how to explain product features, benefits, and rental-purchase agreement terms
• Protecting company assets, including inventory, equipment, vehicles, and customer information
• Following all company vehicle safety standards, delivery procedures, and documentation requirements
• Supporting sales, collections, inventory, and customer retention efforts as training progresses
• Working closely with store leadership to learn daily store operations and leadership expectations
• Performing other duties as assigned by store management

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a clean driving record for the past 5 years
• Have a clean background for the past 7 years
• Be able to pass a drug screen
• Meet and maintain company insurability requirements

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Candidates must be able to:

• Routinely lift, load, move, and handle merchandise ranging from 50 to 300 pounds with the use of a dolly or team lift
• Deliver and remove furniture, appliances, electronics, and other home products
• Bend, stoop, push, pull, climb, reach, grab, and carry merchandise as needed
• Navigate stairs while assisting with merchandise delivery or pickup
• Stand, walk, drive, and move for extended periods of time
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
