Entry-Level Auto Technician
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Auto Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a recent trade school graduate who is looking to grow their career in a professional, fast-paced shop environment. The ideal candidate will have foundational technical training, entry-level tools, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
Position Summary
The Entry-Level Auto Technician will perform basic maintenance and light repair work under the guidance of experienced technicians and shop leadership. This role is designed for someone eager to learn, develop their skills, and build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, battery replacement, etc.)
- Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs
- Complete multipoint inspections accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and shop
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
- Continue developing technical skills through on-the-job training
Qualifications
- Completion of an automotive trade school program
- Entry-level technician tool set
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
