Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to meet project specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute welding and fabrication tasks
- Prepare materials using hand tools, power tools and other equipment for welding or assembly
- Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling parts
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocol guidelines and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG fabrication facilities
- Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings and interpret construction plans accurately
- Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to welding operations
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a commitment to safety compliance and quality workmanship
