Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aluminum Welder to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding and fabrication of aluminum components. Your expertise will ensure high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely project completion.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to determine welding specifications and procedures.
- Perform aluminum welding using various techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas).
- Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal and other aluminum components.
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld parts while maintaining strict quality control standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, using proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and following safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical blueprints accurately.
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication, plasma cutting, machining, and assembly processes.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols relevant to welding.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
